This course, which is the Emergency First Aid at Work course is more properly described as the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQCF). This Emergency First Aid at Work course is fully accredited on the RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) at Level 3. Previously known as the appointed persons First Aid course it is the minimum expected training for an employee to undergo in order to fulfil the role of the appointed First Aider within an organisation.

AED, CPR, Serious Bleeding – You Could Save A Life Today
Training on the use of the AED (Automatic External Defibrilator) is automatically included in each EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) one day course; whether that course is delivered at your workplace or you attend one of our open courses.
BSL (Basic Life Support) is a major componant of this one day course and includes how to administer rescue breaths and CPR. CPR (Cardio Pulminary Resuscitation) is also taught at each session and includes Adult CPR and Childrens CPR.
Catastrophic Bleeding – or more accurately – what to do in cases of serious bleeding is an optional addition for high risk workplaces where cutting tools and implements are used.

Appointed Person / HSE First Aid
The one day Emergeny First Aid at Work course has all of the content of the now defunct HSE First Aid course but contains all the essential elements needed for low and medium risk environments and will allow for the attendee, on completion, to be deemed an appointed person for first aid within an organisation. Higher risk environments may choose to have the full three day First Aid at Work course.
A face to face, interactive course in a safe, supportive environment where you will have direct contact with a tutor, and where you can ask questions!
When attending a course at our main AET site, in addition to a warm welcome, ample free parking you get tea/coffee at break times.
